Global pop phenomenon Troye Sivan has officially ushered in a vibrant new era with the release of his fourth studio album, She’s the Best. Dropping via Interscope Records, the project solidifies Sivan’s status as a premier dance-pop auteur, seamlessly blending bombastic synth production with the intimate, vulnerable songwriting that has defined his career.
High-Octane Energy Meets Intimate Reflection
Following up on the global success of 2023’s Something to Give Each Other, She’s the Best captures both sides of Sivan’s artistic persona—the euphoric late-night club icon and the deeply introspective romantic. Speaking on the album’s emotional dynamic, Sivan noted:
“There is this high-octane side to the album that feels really bombastic, and then there are the songs that feel like the interior of my mind.”
The album’s rollout was anchored by its title track—featuring a music video guest appearance by Nicole Kidman—and the single “Party,” which Sivan recently debuted live during a surprise guest performance with Charli XCX.
“FF” and the Art of Romantic Anticipation
Coinciding with the album launch, Sivan dropped the official music video for the project’s third single, “FF” (short for “F***ing Forever”). Produced alongside Jack Antonoff, George Daniel, Cirkut, Jasper Harris, Madison Love, and Leland, the track is a pulsing, atmospheric ode to future devotion.
Described by Sivan as an “undying love song to a man I don’t know yet,” the single explores the ache and hope of romantic anticipation:
- The Inspiration: “It’s me at my most longing, and about how lonely it is to love someone who isn’t here yet. It might sound like a vow, but it’s really a wish,” Sivan shared.
- The Visuals: Directed by longtime collaborator Gordon von Steiner and shot on Fire Island, the steamy music video stars actor Felix Mayr alongside Sivan, translating the song’s heady mix of yearning and club-ready pulse into striking cinematic imagery.
A Stellar Tracklist and Star Collaborators
Across 12 tracks, She’s the Best features production and songwriting contributions from heavyweights including Jack Antonoff, George Daniel, Oscar Görres, Finneas, and Leland. Highlights across the record include the fan-favorite track “Canada Dry,” the infectious “Le Boy,” and a feature from Lily-Rose Depp on the track “Lost Time”.
With critical acclaim pouring in and global stream counts soaring, She’s the Best stands as a defining chapter in Sivan’s evolution—proving once again his unique ability to turn deep emotional longing into unforgettable dancefloor anthems.
